Steroids Ban in Sports

We all know that the use of steroids is banned in professional sports. We often hear news about athletes being alleged of steroids use and should be disqualified from the event. Without the ban, an athlete who wants to win in his games will take steroids to improve his muscle strength and performance. Steroids are known to stimulate testosterone, which controls the muscles abilities. It would be unfair for non-steroid users to compete against a steroid user because of the enhanced muscle capabilities. However, since doctors attest that steroids have long-term harmful effects on human health and body, the use of steroids are banned especially in professional sports.
